So not only did I win some awesome NuNaturals products as part of FabandDeliciousFood’s giveaway but it ALSO came with a huge stack of recipes. Not just some generic recipe book, but pages and pages of recipes some food bloggers all over the country!!! What’s really cool is, I recognize a lot of them. Averie has a bunch, and I saw some recipes from Katie and Heather too! There are seriously so many recipes, and all of them have a little story about the blogger and their website! I’m definitely going to be trying out some of these recipes, and I’ll be sure to give a shout out to the blogger/creator! I’m pretty excited. I also can’t wait to try the products! I normally buy Truvia stevia, so we’ll see how NuNaturals measures up.

Does anyone have some suggestions for using stevia in recipes? I normally put a packet in my coffee in the morning, and sometimes I add it to a protein shake, but that’s about the extent of my stevia use!

I’ve been trying to get in a workout routine, and this morning, I ran BEFORE work! That’s right, I got my butt out of bed at 6:45 to meet my friend and go on a run! (If I hadn’t been meeting him, I never would have gotten out of bed.) Even though I didn’t run farther than normal (just 3 miles or so) I felt so accomplished, getting it done early in the day! Not to mention the cooler temperatures made it much nicer to run! We’re doing it again on Thursday. I’m hoping to make this a habit… Running in the morning gives me less opportunity to make excuses!

Do you prefer to work out in the morning, afternoon, or evening?

    i’ve never tried stevia, but i hear so many good things about it! my workouts are usually right before dinner. i’ve tried working out in the a.m. but find it’s hard on an empty stomach and hard when i just ate. (i’m so high maintenance!) but i know what you mean about running at cooler temperatures, i feel like i can go forever!

    Lucky you! I haven’t tried stevia yet because they are sort of out of my budget 😦 but make good use of it for me!

    i like working out in the morning. it leaves me energized for the day, and i feel like my afternoons are free to do whatever i want πŸ˜€

    Congrats on the win! I’ve only used stevia (the liquid kind) in drinks, smoothies and oats. I bet you’ll have a lot of fun baking with it! I’d go with muffins or cupcakes, personally.

    I prefer to workout in the morning because that’s when I have the most energy. Also, it’s such a good feeling to already have your workout finished before noon!

    Giveaways are so fun… especially when you’re the winner. (:
    This summer, I’ve been religiously meeting my friend for a workout every morning at 6:30. It is such great motivation, plus we have fun together so it’s also something to look forward to.

    I’m so jealous of your win! I wanted to buy some of the vanilla stevia drops a few weeks ago, but I was too cheap (it’s expensive!!!). But maybe I should just go for it…

    I’ve won that same package and if felt like Christmas. I adore the liquid vanilla. I’ve only used the baking powder once so far for some cookies. I haven’t tried any of the recipes that came with it though. Good job with the AM run. I am not a morning person at all, but love it when I can get the workouts done early. It is an accomplished feeling isn’t it?!

    I definitely prefer working out in the morning! I love “getting it out of the way”- then nothing can interrupt my workout later.

    I like sprinkling Stevia on berries that aren’t quite ripe enough- it adds the right amount of sweetness if you don’t overdo it! πŸ™‚

    I prefer to work out in the morning, but it doesn’t always work out! I used to work out at night right before bed, but now I sleep terribly if I do that.

    Oh, and just fyi, any of my protein ice creams can be made with vegan protein powder. For the best taste, go with Jay Robb or Sun Warrior, if you’re ever considering getting some. Cheaper and more customizable is True Protein–you design your own custom blend!

    Yay, glad you got the prize! I know what you mean about the recipe packet – I was so excited to see all the recipes made by fellow bloggers! It was the neatest thing!
